On Friday, March 10, 2006. The beloved husband of Patricia S.
Kogok; father of Jeff (Sherrie) and Krissy Kogok; devoted
brother of William and Robert Kogok. Mr. Kogok was prominent in
the sheet metal contracting business for over 30 years.
Henry, 63, a resident of Bowie for 18 years, died of pancreatic
cancer March 10 at home after a yearlong illness. Born Dec. 14,
1942, in Takoma Park, Md., the son of the late Gloria O. and
Henry G. Kogok Sr., Henry graduated from Bethesda-Chevy Chase
High School in 1961 and from Farmingdale University in 1963 with
an associate's degree. He worked for the engineering firm of
Kluckhuhn & McDavid for three years, Grimburg Company for one
year and Bethesda Sheetmetal for three years. He was the owner
of H.G. Kogok Company for 23 years and chief executive officer
of Kogok Corporation for 10 years.
His interests included sailing, building ponds and gardening.
Surviving are his wife, Patricia S. Kogok, whom he married Oct.
2, 1983; one son, Jeffery Kogok of Chester; one daughter,
Kristine Kogok of Silver Spring; two brothers, William Kogok of
Bethesda and Robert Kogok of Potomac; and four grandchildren.
